Why Our Cleaners Are Different

We pay our cleaners $25+/hour — top of the market — and still charge less than most competitors. Here's how that works.

Customers ask us this a lot: 'How are you cheaper than that other company if you pay your cleaners more?'

Here's the honest answer. Most cleaning companies have one of two problems: franchise fees that eat into every job, or solopreneurs who can't scale. Either way, you're paying for their overhead, not your clean home. We don't have either problem. We've built the business differently. Less overhead means we can pay our cleaners well and still charge you less than the competition.

The math only works because we run lean. Software handles scheduling, routing, and billing. We don't have a sales staff. We're not paying franchise royalties. That efficiency gets passed along to you and to our cleaners.

💰What $25+ an Hour Actually Means for You

  • Cleaners who earn well don't need a second job — they show up, every time.
  • Better pay means experienced people stay, so you get the same faces week after week.
  • No corner-cutting on supplies. They bring what the job actually needs.
  • People who care about their work do better work. Shocking, I know.
  • When your cleaner knows your home, they clean it right — not just clean.

Most cleaning companies pay $13–$18 an hour. In a market where that's the norm, turnover is brutal, training is minimal, and you're always getting someone new in your house. It's not the cleaners' fault — they just can't make a living at that rate.

We start at $25. That attracts people who actually want to do this work, not people killing time between gig apps.

Our pay rates are on every job listing we post. No hidden numbers, no bait-and-switch on what we actually pay. We think that's how it should work.

Our Hiring Standards

  • Background check required — no exceptions.
  • Previous cleaning or hospitality experience verified.
  • 90-day probation with feedback and coaching.
  • Ongoing training on our systems and products.
  • Referral bonuses for team members who bring in good hires.

We have a referral program. If you're on our team and you refer someone who gets hired and stays six months, you get a $1/hour raise — permanently. Even if the person you referred eventually leaves, that raise stays with you.

That should tell you something about how we treat our people. We'd rather pay our existing team to find more of them than spend a fortune on job ads and deal with bad fits.
